Dear friend,

For decades, EAA has brought people together of all backgrounds and ages to share their passion for flying. In so doing, we have been able to motivate, inspire, and challenge thousands to not only pursue, but achieve their dreams. We can’t thank you enough for being a part of our family, for nurturing the environment in which innovation soars.

Especially during challenging economic times, it is up to the community to keep the doors to the future open. We do this by empowering our innovators to find new ways to do things, ways that increase safety, affordability, and that decrease our consumption of resources. And, we do this by giving— donating what we can to provide the financial support that challenges the youngest of our members to pursue their dreams. We, too, will benefit from their successes!

Your support made a difference in 2008 as the content of this annual report will attest. And we couldn’t have done it without you.
